		<description>Thank-you for commenting Quarymink. I think we have a slight difference of opinion here. Chan is without question a much stronger artistic skater than Takahashi. He is in a class by himself when it comes to his footwork. I agree with you though that Chan should not have won the Gold medal on the weekend. Judges need to judge more on technical skills over artistry.</description>

What you said would&#039;ve made sense if his faulty jumps didn&#039;t affect his performance, but it did. Takahashi was infinitely more connected to the music and more artistic than Chan who bulldozes through every piece he skates to. Takahashi also had amazing footwork. In fact, he got the highest levels on all of his spins and step sequences. Chan only won because he was rigged to win. Takahashi skated two near perfect performances with passion, precision, and artistry. Chan skated two wonky ones with falls, stiff movements, lack of balance, and no artistry or musicality. Chan didn&#039;t deserve to win.</description>
