Memo to Mr. Tillman: It’s time to find a quarterback

The Edmonton Eskimos are in desperate need of a quarterback.

Oh yeah, they had one who was great, but he is now in Toronto.

On Sunday, the Eskimos got nothing done in Regina offensively in a 17-1 hammering from the hands of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Just how bad were the Eskimos on offense? The Eskimos only had 125 yards passing and never made it to the Saskatchewan red zone. It was pathetic. To make matters worse, Adarius Bowman injured his knee late in the game on a play with the game well in hand for the Roughriders.

The Eskimos defense however deserves high praise on defense. J.C. Sherritt is starting to become my favourite Eskimo. For the second straight week he led the team in tackles. He had a game high eight on Sunday.

My grade for the Eskimos this week is a C. They get an A- on offense, and a F on offense.

Despite the loss today, I am guaranteeing an Eskimo win Friday. Winnipeg’s defense has looked horrible the first two weeks without Odell Willis and I feel the Eskimos should be able to score enough points Friday to get two points.
