Jeff Stoughton of Winnipeg and Stefanie Lawton of Saskatoon have advanced to the 2013 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials in Winnipeg from December 1-8 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.

The game had four blank ends before Stoughton recorded a single point in the final end. Jon Mead, who plays third, led the Stoughton team by shooting 91%.
Lawton, meanwhile beat Team Jennifer Jones by a score of 6-4 in the women’s Canada Cup final to advance to the ladies’ tournament. The Saskatchewan skip scored two key points in the third end to take control of the game.
