And I’m sticking to it – 15 minutes of fame with Jim and Geoffrey

Monday, December 20th, 2010

On this week’s episode of 15 Minutes of Fame, Jim and Geoffrey discuss the Edmonton Oilers and their “let’s play for the first overall pick” style of hockey. They also talk about the new series HBO is showing following the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals up to the Winter Classic on January 1st.

In this week’s GABBYs – Good: Redwings Lidstrom, Matt Hulsizer and Phoenix Coyotes and Cliff Lee selflessly takes a five-year $120 million contract. Bad: A bench-clearing brawl in the KHL, Brett Favre’s streak comes to an end and Gilbert Arenas is finally traded.

In Quick Hits: Tashard Choice asks Michael Vick for an autograph, the Edmonton Oilers dance team, and the Edmonton Oil Kings teddybear toss.
