There is no doubt that Toronto Raptors’ General Manager Bryan Colangelo received some criticism in the summer when they selected Terrence Ross out of the University of Washington with the eighth overall pick in front of the sexier selections such as Austin Rivers, Jeremy Lamb and Tyler Zeller, who attended the big name schools of Duke, Connecticut and North Carolina respectively.
But you can now understand Colangelo’s rationale from the performances of Ross lately.
Last night, Ross was sensational, scoring 26 points, including a remarkable buzzer beater for three points at the end of the second quarter, to give the Toronto Raptors a 102-79 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
